That's what my mentor always taught me. Let's dive deep into why a seller would accept an offer, any offer. Easy.....it works for them. We may never know why a seller may say yes to an offer, but I can tell you that sellers do not give away equity, they trade
equity for value
. If you can bring value to a seller, they will trade their equity for the value you can offer. That value
may be in the form of speed or (relief of) headache or hassle. Have you ever paid too much for something? One time I flew to Charlotte and forgot my toothbrush. There was a 7-eleven across the street and a WalMart 4 miles away. Did you know that 7-eleven sells toothbrushes? You don't have the same selection or price that a WalMart can bring you, but guess what I did.....for the value of convenience I bought a $4 toothbrush.
